This class is designed as a collaborative learning experience for parents and toddlers.

Our goal is to introduce toddlers to cooperative learning experiences with the support of parents and teachers.  If parents are unable to attend classes, other family members can accompany the child to class.

Each morning, our teachers will design a learning environment that embraces toddlers’ unique style of learning.  Parents will move through these experiences with their toddlers.

 The learning environment will include:

Each class will end with cooperative singing and movement along with a short story.

Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for experimentation with a variety of art materials.

Because this class is designed as a special learning time for a toddler and parent, we ask that you do not bring older siblings to the class.  HeartPrints’ families can make plans for older siblings to join our Friday morning class.

Families pay tuition for this class.  Our sibling discount does not apply unless two children are enrolled in this class.  For your convenience, we have divided the tuition into nine equal payments.  No refunds will be given for missed classes.

This preschool class is designed as a celebration of creativity.  The goal of this program is to provide children with both the time and the means to explore and play with ideas within an environment designed specifically to inspire creativity.  Each week children will be encouraged to explore their thoughts and ideas within our art studio, writing center, computer center, creative movement center, and construction center.  Our staff will support children as they demonstrate initiative by acting upon their ideas and creating symbolic representations of their research and thinking.

During the school year, our staff will introduce the children to creative individuals throughout history.  In addition, the staff will bring novel objects and ideas into the classroom to expand children’s thinking.  Children who register for this program for the school year will work on several long-term investigations in addition to weekly short-term projects.

This program is ideal for families who desire flexibility in scheduling programs for the their preschooler.  It is also a good choice for morning preschool families who want to extend the their child’s day.  Parents can register the their children for one or more PS-Plus sessions.
